Your data never reaches us.
Here is where it actually lives.

V3RIS runs in your browser. Your documents, your figures, and the relationships you curate are stored on your side, not ours. There is no V3RIS account and no upload. You choose between two ways to keep your work, and this page is the honest tradeoff of each.

the two ways

In this browser on now

The default. Everything you add is saved in this browser's local storage and stays on this device.

What is good
  • The most private option: nothing leaves your device, and no third party is involved at all.
  • Free, instant, and no account or sign-in.
  • Works offline once the page has loaded.
The tradeoff
  • This device only: your work is not on your other computer or your phone.
  • Clearing your browser data or site storage erases it.

Your own cloud in progress

Opt in by connecting your own Google Drive or Dropbox. V3RIS writes a single file there that it alone can see, and reads it back on any device you sign in from.

What is good
  • The same work on every device: laptop, desktop, phone.
  • It lives on an account you own, and survives clearing this browser.
  • Scoped to the one file V3RIS creates: it cannot see anything else in your Drive.
  • We still never see it: the file goes from your browser to your cloud, never through us.
The tradeoff
  • Adds one third party you already trust (your Google or Dropbox).
  • You connect it once, and reconnect occasionally when the sign-in expires.
  • If you edit on two devices at the same time, the most recent save wins.

Available today: you can already export your whole workspace to a single file from the workspace and import it on another device. It is a backup you hold and move yourself, and it is the same file format the cloud option will sync for you automatically.

why we built it this way

V3RIS exists to stop tools from claiming more than they can prove. It would be hard to square that with quietly holding your documents and your work on our servers. So we do not. Your corpus is yours, your model key is yours, and neither is ever stored on our side. The model features run as a call from your browser straight to your own provider account, on a key we never receive. Storing your work the same way, on your device or in a cloud you own, is the only version of this that matches what we tell you on every other page: we would rather hand you the controls than ask you to trust us with them.
